Brian Loew

Chief Executive Officer and FOUNDER

Brian created Inspire in 2005 with the goal of accelerating medical progress through engaged patients and caregivers in safe, trusted online social networks. Over the past 17 years, he has grown the company to be the leading online community for health with more than 10 million visitors annually who join Inspire to discuss a range of health conditions. Brian has built a network of dozens of nonprofit partners including the American Lung Association who rely on Inspire for safe, moderated spaces where their members can receive trusted information and support. Brian is a frequent speaker and writer on the topics of patient-centricity, the role of data in healthcare, health-focused social networks and digital medicine. He sits on the boards of the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins, and New Jersey Goals of Care, and was a “Red Jacket” recipient from PharmaVOICE magazine for his contributions to the industry. Brian is a graduate of George Washington University.

Jen Moyer

Chief Financial Officer

Jen Moyer has over 25 years of financial, operations, and leadership experience in a range of tech and media companies. As CFO, she is responsible for interfacing with investors and for the overall financial leadership and integrity of the company. Jen most recently served in leadership roles as the CFO for Curbio, CFO and COO for Upside Travel, and CFO for Alarm.com (NASDAQ: ALRM). She also served as COO for washingtonpost.com (formerly WashingtonPost.Newsweek Interactive) and in a variety of finance roles at The Washington Post Company (now Graham Holdings). Jen serves on the board of the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins. She is a graduate of Temple University and has completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Rob Ramirez

Chief Revenue Officer

Rob has over 30 years’ experience developing and managing healthcare industry market research and revenue strategies. Rob provides a unique view of the healthcare landscape having previously worked for Schlesinger Group as Chief Client Officer, and Senior Vice President at Ipsos Healthcare. Rob was previously Vice President of Healthcare Research at Ipsos Understanding Unlimited where he ran the qualitative health division. He has held senior positions at Oxford Health Plans, Merck Medco, Observant and Pfizer. Rob brings strategic insights and creative problem solving to Inspire’s clients’ business questions. Rob received the President’s Award from PBIRG for his outstanding contributions to market research. Rob has an MBA from Sacred Heart University and a BA from Flagler College.

John Hervey

Chief Operating Officer

John is a finance and operations leader with an extensive career in the fields of healthcare and finance. Prior to joining Inspire, John was the CEO of CotaHealthcare, a role that followed a career in the financial services industry. Using data and health information to improve patient outcomes is an impassioned pursuit that began after family members’ experiences with the healthcare system triggered a realization that there is a better way to support people with medical needs. He draws on his experience on Wall Street to build teams and operations to efficiently execute complex strategies — and to have fun while doing it. John is a graduate of Yale University.

Amy DeMaria

Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications

Amy has over 25 years of experience in marketing and communications. She has led communications and marketing teams in a wide range of organizations, including Georgetown University Medical Center, the Aspen Institute, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a pioneering research organization whose work has changed the course of a once fatal disease.  She began her career at the global communications agency Porter/Novelli.  Amy’s work has led to awards sponsored by Advertising Age, Modern Healthcare, the Public Relations Society of America, and YouTube. In 2017, Amy was named Washington Women in PR’s Woman of the Year. She is a graduate of Emory University and has completed the Marketing program at Georgetown University School of Business.

Richard Tsai

Senior Vice President, Real World Evidence

Richard is a life sciences and digital health executive with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, product development and commercial strategy. In addition to overseeing Real World Evidence, Richard is responsible for developing Inspire’s HealthJourney data and engagement platform, which empowers patients and caregivers across their medical journey and accelerates gathering of real world insights of diseases or therapeutics for researchers. Prior to joining Inspire, he held positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Rare Genomics Institute, and Hopkins Biotech Network. Richard completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Riverside, and a Masters Degree in Biotechnology, Business Enterprise and Regulatory Affairs from Johns Hopkins University.

Teja Talluri

Vice President, Data Science, and Managing Director, Inspire India

Teja is a data science and artificial intelligence expert who is skilled at building deep learning models to understand user behavior and drive engagement. Prior to joining Inspire, Teja developed innovative data solutions across a diverse set of fields such as education, healthcare, and e-commerce. He specializes in deep learning and natural language processing. Teja is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Masters Degree from the School of Computer Science.
