We are seeking a Product Manager who enjoys solving complex problems, is constantly questioning how we can make the product more useful for our members, and is passionate about health.

Within Inspire, Product Managers drive product innovation and design while impacting the company’s growth trajectory.  Communities are at the core of our product, and in this role you will seek to understand the user base and determine how to optimize their experience, grow the community base and develop new and innovative ways to serve and engage members. Working closely with our Community and Partner teams, you will  develop a community product roadmap geared towards keeping our members engaged in a safe and meaningful way. 

Our next team member will:

  • Build a deep understanding of the Inspire Platform and associated products
  • Understand, research, and follow trends in the online community industry and in general
  • Advocate for members who are looking for “their people” online within health and wellness specific communities – and for keeping them engaged and participating in the conversation on Inspire
  • Build through learning: experiment and iterate on features, grounded in knowledge from social psychologists, data scientists, machine learning teams, internal and ecosystem partners, as well as insights from customers directly
  • Build positive relationships across Product, Engineering, UX Research, Design, Data Science, Community, Partners and more to transform ideas into a roadmap
  • Facilitate the execution of that roadmap to ship product features
  • Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations
  • Work with research team and tools to collect data and user feedback on products
  • Provide user acceptance testing on your products
  • Collaborate with the team to create Product KPIs
  • Maintain a growth mindset and create engagement features that lead to higher activation and retention
  • Analyze retention and engagement metrics and activities

Requirements

WHAT WE NEED:

Our next teammate will have skills and/or knowledge that includes:

  • Experienced with managing technical product implementations and enhancements effectively for customer or member oriented applications with a specific focus on online community engagement
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into user stories
  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment
  • Prior experiences Business to Consumer (B2C) software products
  • Understanding of UX research and UX for web and mobile applications
  • Prior experiences developing a/b tests
  • Proven experience developing analyzing the performance of the product and defining appropriate product KPIs
  • Passion for analytics – ability to evaluate  and interpret qualitative and quantitative data including: feedback from members, community, user research, and behavioral analytics
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strategic business awareness and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
  • Experience using data analytics to inform product decisions

HIGHLY DESIRED:

  • Experience with social networks, online communication platforms like forums, peer to peer communications and messaging systems
  • Experience with mobile application development or product management of mobile applications
  • Prior experience as a software developer or other technical role in software development
  • Experiences increasing retention & engagement and managing churn
  • Experience implementing feature adoption strategies
  • Experience with health consumer products
  • Experience with digital marketing and other user data oriented products
