Inspire is looking for a Director of People who is strategic as well as tactical. This position will report to the CEO and as a strategic and consultative leader, this role is to ensure that Inspire’s policies, procedures, and programs support the organization’s mission, vision and culture and align with Inspire’s strategic objectives. In this role you will:

  • Act as a trusted partner to Inspire’s leaders in the areas of  HR and Talent, design and drive inclusive talent acquisition and employee-related services, policies, and processes
  • Strategically lead and collaborate  with Senior Leadership to establish the strategic direction of Inspire’s people operations including compensation, performance management, succession planning, benefits, organizational development, talent acquisition, people management, engagement and culture
  • Partner with executives and leaders to review internal communications with a consistent message
  • Strategic organizational leadership including organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
  • Serve as an advisor and coach to business leaders and managers around people management and development
  • Establish, maintain and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.
  • Collaborates with Leadership regarding performance reports and metrics.
  • Responsible for employee relations management including consultation and training, implementing proactive best practices, and coaching executives and managers.
  • Drive consistency of employer brand message across the organization.
  • Identify and diagnose talent and organizational issues, and partner with business leaders to implement solutions
  • Lead employee investigations and ensure appropriate outcomes and follow-up
  • Provide strategic direction on the HR systems landscape 
  • Assess and continuously improve upon a culture of effective yet streamlined employee and manager experiences that engage employees, build upon strengths, and successfully deliver performance management feedback loops
  • Partner with leaders and establish compliant, consistent and scalable talent processes that build the Inspire employer brand and culture



  • A business leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who creates solutions and leads in an effective and trustworthy manner
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in a rapidly changing, growth-orientated, and performance driven environment
  • Experience providing strategic direction and oversight of the HR function and serving as an advisor/confidant to senior leaders
  • A well-rounded leader who is able to maintain a big picture, strategic view but also rolls up the sleeves and focuses on tactical details
  • Outstanding ability to listen and communicate effectively across a variety of audiences
  • Effective problem solver who can remain objective and take appropriate action to solve problems across the organization
  • Proven ability to effectively juggle and seamlessly navigate  a variety of tasks using strong organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field
