Project Description
About This Case Study
A research and development executive at a major pharmaceutical company needed patients’ and caregivers’ feedback in the design of a clinical trial protocol. The client faced three challenges: finding patients with a rare complication, understanding their interest in clinical trials and determining potential problems with the design.
1) Learn how Inspire’s research team leveraged Inspire’s expansive population of patients with rare conditions to conduct mixed methods research.
2) Understand how Inspire’s research products can quantify patient willingness to participate in a clinical trial and can explore the impact of procedures and practices in the protocol on patients’ decision making.
3) Find out how the combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies proactively identified unanticipated issues to recruitment and retention.
